BOSSIER
HAHNVILLE – Lillian Byrd Bossier, 85, a native and resident of Hahnville, died Sept. 22. She was the wife of the late Edward Bossier and mother of BarbaraCornell, Mona Bailey and Janet, Patricia, Russel Sr. and the late Richard DeanBossier.
She was also the daughter of the late Abraham and Mary Mercier Byrd and sister of Gladys Robottom, Simon and Ernest Byrd and the late Leona Davis, Leontine Alexander and Wilbert, Joseph, Lawrence and William Byrd.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 26 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church,Hahnville, with interment at the church cemetery, Taft.
BURLETTE
METAIRIE – Stephen Lee Burlette, 31, a native of Alexandria and resident of Destrehan, died Sept. 23. He was the husband of Kim McCauley Burlette.He was also the son of Rolland Jr. and Wanda Youngblood Burlette andbrother of Michelle Burlette.
He is also survived by his grandparents Rolland Sr. and Katherine Burlette.Services were Sept. 25 in the chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Metairie,with interment at Calvary Cemetery, Little Rock, Ark.
ROBERT
LULING – Anthony “Tony” Robert Sr., 83, a native of Ama and resident ofLuling for 24 years, died Sept. 21. He was the husband of the late MarieMargiotta Robert and father of Frances Pelot and Anthony Robert Jr.
He was also the son of the late Ejar and Alice Lauve Robert and brother of the late Beatrice Friloux and Eugene, Murphy, Martin, Horace and Jack Robert.
He is survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 23 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Luling, withinterment at St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling.
WILLIAMS
KENNER – Sheryl Lynn Mashia Williams, 49, a native of New Orleans, former resident of Norco and resident of Kenner and Metairie for the past 14 years, died Sept. 20. She was the wife of Layman Williams and mother of DalaCelestine and Jeny Williams.
She was also the daughter of Blenny Mashia Jr. and the late Eloise RileyMashia and sister of Emily, Barry, Darrell and Rodney Mashia and the late Junior Williams.
She was a graduate of Bethune High School, Norco, and attended Delgado Community College.
Memorial services were Sept. 23 in the chapel of L.A. Muhleisen & SonFuneral Home, Kenner.
