Drawing on his creative senses, Johnson’s invention was inspired by seeing a friend of his who would carry pictures of his family near his dashboard.
“Many people carry important documents in their vehicles, and over time they are damaged by handling and constantly removing them for repairs and such. Thus, the idea of VisorFrame was born.VisorFrame will be manufactured and distributed by Lawson Industries, an Albany, Ga., company whose clients include Wal-Mart and Target departmentsstores. The VisorFrame will retail under $10. The product is said to hit thestore shelves this September.
At the age of 28 Johnson has invented several other products yet to hit the market. One other is Collarguards – a hypoallegenic foam insert designed toprevent “ring around the collar” on shirts and blouses. He has done allnecessary steps in filing for patents on his own and has successfully acquired trademarks for each of his inventions. He is noted for his visualartwork and has received congressional commendation for his accomplishments.
As for his future goals, Johnson stated, “My dream is to see VisorFrame on the store shelves and continue creating and inventing exciting products.” Forhim this dream is about to become a reality.
