Sonya Elizabeth Gross and Kevin Stephen Howard were united in marriage June 24 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Boutte, with the Rev. John Dorseyofficiating. A reception followed at the V.F.W. Post 3750 in Luling.The bride, daughter of the late Doris C. Gross and Clarence Gross Sr.,graduated from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux.

The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oregon Howard of Marrero, graduated fromWest Jefferson and attended Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.

After a honeymoon cruise to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in St.

John the Baptist Parish.
