EDGARD – The 2000 Millennium Basketball Camp will be held at West St.

John High School July 24-28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.The camp is conducted by Brian Lumar, Loyola’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder and the coach the 1997 and 2000 state champion Shaw Eagles. Lumar also is the coach the drilling experts Shaw Dribblers and theAAU Louisiana Jammers.

The camp includes divisions for boys and girls ages six to 15. All camperswill be taught, observed and corrected in all phases of basketball. Thecampers will be grouped according to age, gender and talent level.

Activities include practice sessions, 3-on-3 tournaments, 5-on-5 games and various shooting contests. Each camper will also receive their ownofficial Millennium basketball.

The cost of the camp is $75 if pre-registered and $85 for Monday walk- ups.
