JASMINVACHERIE – Brenda Vedol Jasmin, 53, a native and resident of Vacherie, died June 8. She was the former wife of Marvin Jasmin and mother of ShequitaWhite, Kiwaun Taylor and DaMario Jasmin.

She was also the daughter of the late Vincent and Berella Vedol and sister of Betty Jean Allen, Sharlene Bright, Linda Malancon, Carternell Nash, Claudia Harry and Lois, Stanley and the late Van Vedol.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Services were held June 15 at Highway Baptist Church, Vacherie, with interment at the church cemetery.

SAUL VACHERIE – Hazel Adams Saul, 58, a native and resident of Vacherie, died June 14. She was the wife of Clifton Saul Sr. and the mother of AudrallWooden and Nadine, Angela and Clifton Saul Jr.

She was also the daugther of the late Adams and Thelma Dupard and sister of JoeAnn Akpan, Haywood Jefferey and Tannor, Norris and Darrel Dupard.

She is also survived by four grandchildren.

Services are today at noon at First Baptist Church, Vacherie, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 10 a.m.

THOMPSONNEW ORLEANS – Holly J. Thompson Sr., 79, a native of Reserve and a residentof New Orleans for many years, died June 10. He was the father of HollyThompson Jr. and Grace Thompson Robinson.He was also the brother of Mildred Butler and Brookie Mae Decuir.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was a former member of the Olympia Brass Band, the Royal Dukes of Rhythm and the Clyde Kurr and Dave Bartholemy Band.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Frances DeSales Catholic Church, NewOrleans, with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation begins at 9 a.m.

WILLIAMS BOUTTE – Bernadine H. Williams, 53, a native and resident of Boutte, diedJune 12. She was the wife of Darris Williams Jr. and mother of Jason Williamsand Valencia Vinnett.

She was also the daughter of Phillip Sr. and Thelma Harris and sister ofPhillip Jr., Donald and Michael Harris, Thelma LeGaux and Carolyn Willis.She is also survived by three grandchildren. She was the granddaughter ofNaomie Coleman.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, Boutte, withinterment at Mt. Airy Memorial Park Cemetery, Boutte. Visitation begins at 9a.m.
