ALLISON LAFAYETTEFrances Brown Allison,75, native of Carroll County, Miss. and resident of Gramercy, died May 12. She was the wife of the late VernonAllison and the mother of Glenda Wilson and Sandy Cambre.

She was also the daughter of the late Lilliam Thompson and Henry Brown and the sister of Jimmie Boyd.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Services were held May 15 at First Baptist Church, Gramercy with interment in Resthaven Cemetery, Baton Rouge.

AUCOIN DESTREHANAlbert F. Aucoin Jr., 76, native of New Orleans and resident ofDestrehan for the past four years, died May 11. He was the husband of DoraAucoin and the father of Roger and Stephen Aucoin.

He was also the son of the late Clara Baker and Albert Aucoin Sr. and theBrother of Delores, Jacob and Robert Aucoin.

He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 13 at the Kenner Funeral Home of L.A. Muhleisen andSon with interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kenner.

CANDIES LULINGJoseph “Bennie” Candies, 77, native and resident of Des Allemands, died May 15. He was the husband of Virginia Candies and the father ofCharlene Fontenot, Curtis and Mark Candies and the late Cecille Candies.

He was also the son of the late Ferdie and Amelia Candies and the brother of Nettie Percle.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and a host of relatives.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, DesAllemands with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 9 a.m.

DENNIS THIBODAUXIrma Charles Dennis, 63, a native and resident of St. JamesParish, died May 8. She was the wife of the late Royal Dennis Sr. and themother of Royal Dennis Jr., , Ava Bartholemyew, Angelia Smith, Joann, Janet,Andrew, Wilfred, Elanda and Allan Dennis.

She was also the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Charles and the sister of Eula Mae Henry, Sophia Landry, Deloric Mayho, Ruth Keller, Albert, Joseph, Howard Charles and the late Ford, Arthur, Herbert, Louis, Frank, Floyd and James Charles. She was also the step-sister to Louise Sanders.She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, one great-grandson and a host of relatives.

Services were held May 16 at St. Luke Baptist Church, St. James withinterment in the church cemetery.

GIANGROSSO NORCOFreddie J. Giangrosso Sr., 86, a native of Sellars and a resident ofNorco, died May 13. He was the husband of Anna Mae Giangrosso and thefather of Grederick, Bernard and Gerard Giangrosso.

He was also the son of the late Phillip and Lena Giangrosso and the brother of Jospehine Koll and the late Paul, Gregory, Louis, Joseph, Jack, Dominick, Phillip, Jeanne, Santa and Lucy Giangrosso.

He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was a former member of the St. Charles Parish Police Jury and a formermember of the South Louisiana Port Commission.

Services were held May 15 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco with entombment at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.

KINLER LULINGMalcolm “Sonny” Kinler, 67, native of Luling and resident of Hahnville for 38 years, died May 13. He was the husband of Melva Kinler and the fatherof GaryKinler, Robin Callahan, Trudy Deshotels, and Paty Duplay.

He was also the son of the late Wilson and Glorence Kinler and the brother of Wilson, Floyd and Stanley Kinler and the late Benedict and Raymond Kinler.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Services were held May 15, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville with interment in Church Cemetery, Taft.

LANDRY NORCOAllen J. “Tuffy” Landry, 71, native and resident of Norco, died May15. He was the husband of Gloria Landry and the father of Arthur, Allen,Thomas,Wilfred, Michael, George and Robert Landry; Linda Guarino, Diane Gavre; and Tama McClean.

He was also the son of the late Leon and Leona Landry and the brother of Beorge Landry, Catherine Messer, Wanda Manard and the Late Leon Landry, Rosemary Hertel and Shirley Elfer.

He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at the Alexander Funeral Home, Norco withentombment at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum. Visitation begins at 9 a.m.

MARIER LAPLACELaverne J. “Bud” Marier,80, native of Spokane, Wash. and residentof LaPlace for the past seven years, died May 11. He was the step-father ofKathleen Bostick, Lee and Leo Kairis, Robert and Judy Dellsperger.

Services were held May 13 at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace.

MATHERNE LULINGAnnette Mae Babin Matherne, 82, a native of Donner, La. and aresident of Luling for 45 years, died May 14. She was the wife of Hilman”Buster” Matherne and the mother of Robert, Paul, Stephen, David and Kevin Matherne and Janet Lorio.

She was also the daughter of the late Pierre Babin and Daisy Himel.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 16 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling with interment at St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling.

SIMON TERRYTOWNLoretta M. Simon, 89, native of Lutcher and resident ofTerrytown for many years, died May 6. She was the mother of ThodoreSimon Jr. and Nelwyn Riddle.She was also the sister of Drezina Boudreaux, Greta Carter and Ruth Remy.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 13 at the Shrine to Mary Chapel, Marrero. The burialwas private.
