This is my senior year – my graduation date is May 19. I know it soundscrazy, but I can actually still remember being in first grade. I guess ourparents were right when they told us that the years really do fly by. Highschool has been a blast. When I think of all the fun I’ve had, it reminds meof a scripture in Ecclesiates 11:19 which says, “Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but knowthat for all these things God will bring you to judgement.”I believe God intends for us to live life to the fullest, but to live it through Him. What good is your life if it is filled with worry and stress? We need to cast our cares to the Lord. Matthew 6:34 says, “Therefore donot worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each dayhas trouble of its own.” This is so true. So, make the most of each day. Tryto find joy in every minute of it. After all, you can only live today once.If you have any questions or comments contact me at straightkids@juno.com or P.O. Box 1493, LaPlace, LA 70069.
