Hahnville hosts annual football awards banquet

BOUTTE – Hahnville High School held its annual Football Awards Banquet at the school Feb. 17.Wide receiver Kade Rogers was named the team’s Most Valuable Player.

Running back Darryl Honor was selected the Most Valuable Offensive Player while linebacker Erik Donnaud received the award for defense. DominickClulee was named the best lineman.

The Coaches award went to Ted White. Carl Raymond was the recipient ofthe Scholar Athlete award. And Chris Hawkins was named the team’s MostImproved Player.

Touchdown Club Scholarships went to Kade Rogers, Erik Donnaud, Chris Hawkins, Josh Varnado, Carl Raymond and Ted White.

Head coach Lou Valdin thanks Faye Caire, Ramona Donnaud, Peggy Matherne and the other ladies of the Touchdown Club for all the hard work in making the banquet a huge success.
