EDGARD – A Hahnville man was jailed over the weekend in St. John the BaptistParish, charged with sexual molestation of a 12-year-old boy and aggravated crime against nature, according to Capt. Mike Tregre of the St. John ParishSheriff’s Office.

Tregre said 42-year-old Allen Poche, 413 Smith St., Hahnville, was in EdgardSunday afternoon visiting his girlfriend in the 400 block of Central Avenue.

Around noon, a 22-year-old male member of the family entered the trailer and discovered Poche having anal sex with the man’s 12-year-old brother.

The boy is the grandson of Poche’s girlfriend.

The family immediately confronted Poche, kicked him out of the trailer and called police and reported the incident.

Poche turned himself into the St. John Sheriff’s Office around 4 p.m. andwas booked. He was still being held under $90,000 bond by order of JudgeSterling Snowdy yesterday.

According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Poche has a prior arrestand conviction for illegal use of body armor.
