Nicol Mae Bourgeois was born Jan. 4 at 9:11 a.m. at River ParishesHospital. She was the first baby born at River Parishes Hospital for thenew year. She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.She is the daughter of Tanya L. and Chad G. Bourgeois of Gramercy and thesister of Luke G. Bourgeois.Maternal grandparents are Gaynell and Harris Louque Jr. of Gramercy.Paternal grandparents are Joyce Bourgeois of Gramercy and the late Posey Bourgeois.

Godparents are Chris Guidry and Mary Bourgeois.

JOHNSON

Diamante Lyndell Johnson was born Jan. 10 at River Parishes Hospital. Heweighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces.

He is the son of LaShantra “She-She” Johnson of Garyville.

Maternal grandparents are Mary Ann and Jayce Branch of LaPlace.

LANDRY

Maci Allyce Landry was born Jan. 9 at 4:51 a.m. at River Parishes Hospital.She weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long.

She is the daughter of Lori A. Estey and Brandon M. Landry of Reserve.Maternal grandparents are Karen and Ronald Estay of Gonzales. Paternalgrandparents are Donna Wempren and Tommy Rizzuto of Reserve.

Chalyn Bre’ielle Smith was born Sept. 21 at 9:40 a.m. at River ParishesHospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 2.4 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.She is the daughter of Trenesser Batiste and Chad B. Smith Sr. of St.James and the sister of Chad B. Smith Jr. Maternal grandparents are Bernice K. Washington of St. James and the lateSamuel Washington and Albert Batiste. Paternal grandparents are Yvonneand Albert Smith Jr. of St. James.Maternal great-grandmother is Ethel C. Knight of St. James.

STEIN

Brett Joseph Stein was born Dec. 22 at 12:22 p.m. at Lakeside Hospital. Heweighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long.

He is the son of Autumn Loupe and Ricky Stein of Reserve.

Maternal grandparents are Donna and Lennard Loupe. Paternal grandparentsare Mamie “Marie” and Norris “Ricky” Stein.
