BRADLEY CARTHAGE, Tenn. – Barbara Pelotto Bradley, 54, a native of Des Allemandsand resident of Westwego, died Jan. 11. She was the wife of Frank DawsonBradley and mother of Troy, Barry and Wayne Terrebonne, Diana B.

Mezzanares and Frank Bradley.

She was also the daughter of the late Samuel Sr. and Lucille EschettePelotto and sister of Ruth Bedgood and Samuel and Glynn Pelotto.

She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services are Jan. 16 at Sanderson Funeral Home, Carthage, Tenn.

CONNERLY NEW ORLEANS – Rosemary Williams Connerly, 77, a native of St. JamesParish and resident of New Orleans, died Jan. 10. She was the wife of thelate Rev. Connerly and the late Robert Williams Sr. and mother of RobertWilliams Jr.

She was also the daughter of the late Lawrence and Minerva Beckett and sister of Beatrice Smith and the late Emaline Clayton, Leanna Thomas, Lillie Beckett, Gertrude Williams, Carolyn Shade and Oscar Robertson.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was honored as Most Prestigious Black Business Woman of the Year by the Urban League.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at First Mt. Calvary Baptist Church No. 1,New Orleans, with interment at Antioch Cemetery, Paulina. Visitationstarts at 8:30 a.m.

DAVIS LAPLACE – Ethel “Mama Ethel” Johnson Davis, 87, a native of Burnside and resident of LaPlace for 74 years, died Jan. 7. She was the wife of the lateSidney Johnson Sr. and mother of Wilbert Johnson, the Rev. RandolphAnthony, Beulah Colbert, Vivian Davis, Barbara Breaux, Maudrey Johnson and Herman, Sidney Jr., John and the late Percy and August Johnson. Shewas also step-mother of Raymond Johnson.

She was also the daughter of the late Peter Sr. and Beulah James andsister of Ceola Nabors, Shirley Snyder and Peter James Jr.

She is also survived by 51 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church No. 1, LaPlace,with interment at Providence Rest Haven Cemetery, LaPlace. Visitationbegins at 9 a.m.

FERGUSON LAPLACE – Thelma Luanna Ferguson, 83, a native of Nebraska and resident of LaPlace for 43 years, died Jan. 11. She was the wife of the late Jack W.Ferguson and mother of Luana Hinchman and Roger, Scott and John Ferguson.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services were held Jan. 14 at First United Methodist Church,LaPlace.

FLUENCE NEW ORLEANS – Ernestine Williams Fluence, 88, a native of Taft and resident of New Orleans, died Jan. 6. She was the wife of the late HermanFluence.

She was also the daughter of the late Joseph “Sunny” and Virginia Royal Williams and sister of the late Willie, Houston, Albert, Percy and Hazel Williams.

Services were held Jan. 14 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, NewOrleans, with interment at Providence Memorial Park.

HARDY LAPLACE – Loraine M. Hardy, 49, a native and resident of St. Rose, died Jan.7. She was the wife of Ollie Hardy and mother of La Tonia Leonard, Kourtney Williams and La Tara, Ollie Jr., Christopher and Howard Hardy.She was also the sister of Lydia Charles, Doris Marbley, Mary Davis, Gwendolyn Washington and Leo and Rufus Williams.

She is also survived by three grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at New Foundation for Life Full GospelChurch, LaPlace, with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

JOHNSON LAPLACE – Willie Johnson Sr., 86, a native of Garyville and resident ofLaPlace for two years, died Jan. 7. He was the husband of the late AlberthaWilliams Johnson and father of Delores Tanner, Mary Ellen Phillips, Albertha Vickers, Marion Mixon, Beverly Mixon and Dovie, Willie Jr. andKarl Johnson.

He was also the son of the late Junius and Josephine Johnson.

He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was retired from Godchaux-Henderson Sugar Refinery.

Services are today at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses,LaPlace, with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Lions. Visitationstarts at 11:30 a.m.

JONES NORCO – Genevieve Corley Jones, a native of Many and resident of Destrehan, died Jan. 10. She was the wife of the late Percy Alton Jones.Graveside services were held Jan. 13 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Many.

MULLER METAIRIE – Lois Roberts Muller, 87, a native of Luling and resident of Metairie for 45 years, died Jan. 12. She was the wife of the late JosephMuller Jr. and mother of J.M. Muller III and the late Monique Muller. She is also survived by four grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Tharp-Sontheimer-TharpFuneral Home, Metairie, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.

ST. PIERRE DESTREHAN – Vernon J. “Flappy” St. Pierre Sr., 72, a native of Norco andresident of Destrehan, died Jan. 13. He was the husband of Macklin”Maggie” Petrolia St. Pierre and father of Sheila Livingston, Gail Potier,Donna Maitre and V.J., Dale “Sluggie” and the late Wayne St. Pierre.He was also the son of the late Numa and Neva St. Pierre and brother ofJuanita Rodriguez, Rita Tamplain, Norma Duhon and the late Edith Martin, Julia Beeland and McLeon, Gene and Gerald St. Pierre.He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 1 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,Destrehan, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at10 a.m.

SCHULER METAIRIE – Malcolm Pellum Schuler, a native of Paradis and resident of Harahan, died Jan. 13. He was the husband of Katherine “Kitty” MitchellSchuler and father of Dr. Malcolm P. Schuler Jr.He was also the son of the late Lewis and Laura Chauffe Schuler and brother of Phillip and the late Lewis Schuler Jr.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Funeral Home,Metairie, with interment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation startsat 9 a.m.

WESER NEW ORLEANS – Nova Catherine Reina Weser, 89, a native of Garyville and resident of New Orleans and Metairie, died Jan. 12. She was the wife ofthe late William Joseph Weser Jr. and mother of Nova Ferrara and JoanBalser.

She was also the daughter of the late Giacchino “Jake” and Caterina Scandaliato Reina.

She is also survived by six grandchildren.

Services are today at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son FuneralHome, New Orleans, with interment at Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitationstarts at 10 a.m.
