ALEXANDER
NEW ORLEANS – Amy Lee Alexander, 85, a native of St. James Parish andresident of New Orleans for seven years, died Jan. 3. She was the mother of Charity Halphen and Joyce Green and sister of Rosemary Lawson.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services are today at 10 a.m. at Second True Love Missionary BaptistChurch, New Orleans, with interment at Providence Memorial Park.
Visitation starts at 8 a.m.
BARTHOLOMEW
VACHERIE – Nathan A. Lightning Bartholomew Sr., 69, a native of Edgardand resident of Wallace, died Jan. 4. He was the husband of Bernadine GrowBartholomew and father of Nathan Jr., Sandy and Donald Bartholomew.He was also the son of the late Mitchell and Corinne Coleman Bartholomew and brother of Hilda Roussel and the late Muriel Williams, Ruth Simon and Melba Mathieu.
He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church, Vacherie, withinterment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.
BRACK
RESERVE – Sidney Joseph Brack, 90, a native of Vacherie and resident of Reserve for 73 years, died Jan. 6. He was the husband of Alisca BecnelBrack and father of Loyce Ann Vicknair, Dianna Larousse and Leroy Brack.
He was also the son of the late Numa and Emma Klibert Brack.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, withinterment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.
GEORGE
DESTREHAN – Ethan Brockner Favrat George, 7 weeks, a native of Metairie and resident of Destrehan, died Jan. 4. He was the son of Sean and JanineFavrat George and brother of Emma and Trevor Howard.
He was also the grandchild of James and Elva George and Vern and Paula Favrat.
Services were held Jan. 7 at St. Charles United Methodist Church,Destrehan, with interment at Green Oaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
GREEN
HAHNVILLE – Harriet Green, 104, a native and resident of Paradis, died Jan.
2. She was the wife of the late Willie Green and mother of the late AlbertPorter.
She was also the daughter of the late Winnie Welch and Albert Manuel and sister of the late Reason Lee, Lucinda Nedd, Colinda Ross, Theodore Patrick and John Manuel Sr.
She is survived by two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by onegrandchild.
Services were held Jan. 7 in the chapel of Robottom Mortuary, Hahnville,with interment at Shell Mound Cemetery, Des Allemands.
JACOBS
LAPLACE – Gertrude Bering Jacobs, 98, a native of Muscatine, Iowa, and resident of LaPlace for 13 years, died Jan. 4. She was the wife of the lateJoseph F. Jacobs and mother of John, James and Joel Jacobs.She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 6 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home,LaPlace, with interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Muscatine, Iowa.
JACQUE
CONVENT – Charles “Pee-Wee” Adam Jacque, 49, a native of New Orleans and resident of Convent for 20 years, died Jan. 1. He was the father ofChiquita Weber and step-father of Kylve Van Court.
He was also the brother of Brenda Barnes and Gwendolyn Washington.
He is also survived by one grandchild.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church,Convent, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at10:30 a.m.
LAGRANGE
GRAMERCY – Kerry LaGrange, 50, a native of Edgard and resident of Lutcher, died Jan. 5. He was the husband of Barbara Barney LaGrange andfather of Konetha and KaShane LaGrange.
He was also the son of Joseph LaGrange and the late Lydia Alexander LaGrange and brother of Deola, Glenn, Ricky and Ray LaGrange.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy,with interment at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina. Visitation starts at 9a.m.
MARRERO
METAIRIE – Eunice Brignac Marrero, 81, a native of Gramercy and a resident of Metairie, died Jan. 5. She was the wife of Henry A. Marrero.She was also the daughter of the late Hamilton and Sidonie Hymel Brignac and sister of Gladys Barbier, Rita Kaul, Clarence and Julian Brignac and the late Rena Hymel, Mabel Hymel and Thelma, Raymond, Lester and Milton Brignac.
Services were held Jan. 7 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Metairie, withinterment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
MITCHELL
ST. JAMES – Victorian Mitchell, 87, a native of St. James, former residentof Baton Rouge and resident of Lutcher, died Jan. 2. He was the husband ofthe late Theresa Momford Mitchell.
He was also the son of the late Elfair and Sedonia Morris Mitchell and brother of Florestine Adams, Phelonise Smith and the late Leon, Joseph, Webster and Andrew Mitchell.
Services are today at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, St. James,with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m.
OCKMAN
HARVEY – Irvin J. Ockman Sr., 74, a native of Taft and resident of Algiers,died Jan. 4. He was the father of Richard, Jerry, Irvin Jr. and David Ockman.He was also the fianc of Marie Duncan.
He was also the son of the late Edgar and Lydia Lassere Ockman and brother of Hubert Ockman and the late Inez Hebert and Ethel and Earl Ockman.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 7 in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, Harvey,with interment at Westlawn Memorial Park.

HAHNVILLE – Alma Austin Page, 85, a native of Hahnville and resident of New Orleans, died Jan. 3. She was the wife of the late John Page.She was also the daughter of the late James and Louisa Ferguson Austin and sister of Ruth Mayfield, Ivea Hill and Nelson Austin Sr. and step-sisterof Alberta Green, Nell Crawford and Evelina Robertson.

VACHERIE – Lloyd Joseph “Bim” Reulet, 74, a native and resident of Vacherie, died Jan. 4. He was the husband of Marguerite Belle Steib Reuletand father of Angele Rodrigue, Patricia Gravois, Rachel Rome, Margaret Cortez and David “Bim,” Michael “Peabody,” Lynn, Randy and Kenneth “Stucky” Reulet.
He was also the son of the late Lazare and Angele Falgoust Reulet.
He is also survived by 22 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by onegrandchild.
Services were held Jan. 6 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie,with interment at the church cemetery.
SANDOLPH
PARADIS – Marlon Marvin Sandolph, 23, a native of Paradis and resident of New Orleans, died Jan. 5. He was the son of Marvin and Susie Sandolph andbrother of Kiraston Staples, Patrice Smith, Stacey Savoie and Lory, Torrell and Carmen Sandolph.
Services are today at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Paradis, withinterment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at noon.
WILLIAMS
KILLONA – Richard “Nonk” Williams, 64, a native of Killona and resident of Lucy for 25 years, died Jan. 3. He was the companion of Geneva Johnsonand father of Janice and Patricia Baptiste, Olivia Macon and Herbert LaGrange.
He was also the brother of Mary Johnson and Sedonia Williams.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at Canaan Baptist Church, Killona, withinterment at Greenhill Cemetery, Killona. Visitation starts at 10 a.m.
WILSON
NEW ORLEANS – Joseph Brealy Wilson Sr., 73, a native of Destrehan andresident of New Orleans for many years, died Jan. 1. He was the husband ofBessie W. Wilson and father of Anieul Brumfield, Catherine Johnson,Cavada Smith, Suprenia Galman and Tyree and Joseph Brealy Jr.
He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 6 in the chapel of D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, NewOrleans, with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
