St. Charles Catholic began to take longer possession of the ball as theComets started to pass better and play the width of the field. Their nextscore soon followed accordingly as with an assist from Doubleday, Andrew Revall put the ball into the left side of Destrehan’s goal.
Thirty-eight minutes into the first half Doubleday assisted again to Smith who from the corner of the penalty box sent the ball in low, past the diving goalie for the point.
