Mauel, Clancy marry in LSU chapel

BATON ROUGE – Shannon Nicole Clancy and Bryan Charles Manuel were united in marriage Aug. 14 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Chapel, LSU, BatonRouge, with the Rev. Patrick L. Smith officiating.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Baton Rouge Hilton.
The bride is the daughter of Brenda Clancy of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and Timothy R. Clancy of Nestelton, Ontario, Canada. The groom is the son ofMr. and Mrs. Harold “Budd” Manuel Jr. of LaPlace.The bride’s dress was a white duchess satin sleeveless gown with drop waist and hand embroidered delicate pearl and sequin flowers. The chapel-length train was accented with pearl and sequin flowers. She carried amixed bouquet of roses with mums and lilies in shades of lilac, lavender and white, accented with loops of pearls.
The bridesmaids dresses were floor-length dresses of lilac crepe de chene with an overlay of floral crushed chiffon.
The matron of honor was sister of the bride Devon Deanna Clancy of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, and the bridesmaid was sister-in-law of the groom Debra Rice Manuel of Plano, Texas.
The two best men were brother of the groom Harold “Hal” E. Manuel III ofPlano, Texas, and Dean J. Melancon Jr. of Metairie.Following the wedding, the couple took a honeymoon trip to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The couple now reside in Baton Rouge. Back to Top
