Things to ponder while waiting out an instant replay review…Alright, who would have thought it? After one week in the NFL, the Saints, Bears, Colts and Rams would have a better record than the 49ers, Falcons, Broncos and Jets.

Speaking of the Saints, when they said they would get the ball to Ricky Williams 25 to 30 times, didn’t you think they meant it would be per game? When Cleveland got an expansion team, you would have thought they would have remembered to include an offense with it.

First it was David Toms winning the Sprint Invitational and now this past weekend, Hal Sutton capturing his third title in the last 11 months at the Canadian Open. Charles Raulerson and Embry Aubrey also have a chance of retainingtheir PGA Tour cards.

Speaking of golf, prediction for the Ryder Cup – the United States regains the Cup by a point.

Hey, Yankees, take a look in your rearview mirror. While you have been oncruise control for much of the season, the Red Sox have found another gear. Remember 1978? Finally, the NHL started its exhibition schedule this week. Weren’t theDallas Stars just celebrating their Stanley Cup victory?
