Jacob, Mixon marry in Dallas

DALLAS – Alicia DeAnne Mixon and Jeremy Paul Jacob were united in marriage July 24 at St. Monica Catholic Church in Dallas, with the Rev.Msgr. John F. Myers officiating. A reception followed at the WyndhamGarden Hotel in Dallas.

The bride is the daughter of Debbe Mixon and Larry Mixon of Mabank, Texas, and the bridegroom is the son of Debra Jacob and Norman Jacob Jr. ofMilford, Ohio.

The bride, whose mother is the former Debbe Lynn Austin of Dallas, graduated from R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas, and BaylorUniversity in Waco, Texas, where she received a bachelor of arts in communication sciences and disorders. She also received a master ofscience in communication sciences and disorders from Texas Woman’s University in Denton. The bride is employed as a speech-languagepathologist with Mesquite Independent School District in Mesquite, Texas.

She is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reid of Carrolltonand Mrs. Willie Mixon of Dallas and the late Lester Mixon.The bridegroom, whose mother is the former Debra Mary Aucoin of Reserve, graduated from North Canton Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio, and Baylor University in Waco, where he received a bachelor of business administration. He is employed by Enterprise Rent-A-Car as abranch manager in Garland, Texas.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Aucoin and Edna Mae Jacob and thelate Norman Jacob, all of Reserve.

Following a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamiaca, the couple reside in Mesquite, Texas.
