BRADY LAPLACEJosephine Hymel Brady, 91, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Aug. 8. She was the wife of Peter J. Brady Sr. and mother of CatherineRemondet and Mary Ann, Peter Jr., Milton, Donald, James, John, Patrick,Michael, Bobby and Billy Brady.
She was also the daughter of the late Thomassin and Bertha Madere Hymel and sister of Etiette Dufresne, Leona Braud, Lorraine Kleinschmidt and the late Hilda Nunn, Edith Bourgeois, Odette Hymel, France Madere and Paul, Etienne, Lionel and Jules Hymel.
She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 10 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace,with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.FUNCK LAPLACERobert “Bobby” Raymond Funck, 59, a resident of LaPlace, died Aug. 8. He was the son of Elsie St. Amant Funck and the late William HenryFunck Sr., and brother of William Funck Jr.He was a communication worker with St. John Parish Department of CivilDefense and was president of the Plantation District Radio Club, board member of the Council of Louisiana Radio Club and member of the Jefferson Amateur Radio Club.
Services are today at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home,Metairie with a private burial. Visitation begins at 10 a.m.GORDON NEW ORLEANSIsadore “Bubba” Gordon, 82, a native of Edgard and a resident of New Orleans for 65 years, died Aug. 6. He was the husband ofLeona Gordon and father of Anetta Lewis, Edwina Morrison, Noel Isom, Barry Isadore and Dwayne Gordon.
He was also the brother of Orita Porche, Orena Hebert and Helmon Gordon.
He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services are today at 10 a.m. in the chapel of D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home,New Orleans, with interment at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation startsat 8:30 a.m.LEWIS LAPLACECatherine Marshall Lewis, 81, a native of Scotland and a resident of LaPlace for two and one-half years, died Aug. 7. She was thewife of the late William Lewis and mother of Tom, Paul and Sam Lewis.
She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were held Aug. 10 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home,LaPlace.
LUQUETTE PAULINAClifford P. Luquette Sr., 64, a native of St. James and a residentof Lutcher, died Aug. 9. He was the husband of Virginia Rizzuto Luquetteand father of Clifford Jr., Jimmy, Danny, Dwayne and Robert Luquette.He was also the son of the late Sylvere and Odile Haydel Luquette and brother of Ethel Chanier, Larry and S.J. Luquette and the late AngellaPerret.
He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, withinterment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.MacNAUGHTON BATON ROUGEMary Alice MacNaughton, 78, a native of Paradis and a resident of Baton Rouge, died Aug. 5. She was the wife of the late WilliamC. MacNaughton Sr. and mother of Kathy Allen and William MacNaughton Jr.She was also the daughter of the late R.D. and Genevieve Snee Landry andsister of Warren Landry and the late Kenneth and Bobby Landry.
She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 9 in the chapel of Greenoaks Funeral Home, BatonRouge, with interment at Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
MANALE METAIRIEEmma Heidenreich Manale, 78, a native of New Orleans and a resident of LaPlace for 15 years, died Aug. 7. She was the wife of the lateFrank A. Manale Sr. and mother of Diane Granger, Emma Vidacovich, Johnand Frank Manale Jr.
She was also the daughter of the late Carl and Nellie Marshall Heidenreich and sister of Ann Elwin, Claire Sims, Jimmy Bush, Ronald Heidenreich and the late Marie Bush.
She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 10 in the chapel of Lake Lawn Funeral Home,Metairie, with interment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
POCHE BATON ROUGEIda Magdelene Delaneuville Womack Poche, 84, a native of Reserve, former resident of Lutcher and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, died Aug. 8. She was the wife by first marriage of the late Cleve A.Womack Sr. and by second marriage of the late Paul V. Poche and mother ofPeggy Boeneke, Corrinne Bezdek, Eula Garon and Elizabeth, Cleve Jr.,Patrick, Paul, Phillip and Karen Womack.
She was also the daughter of the late Emile and Corrine Delaneuville and sister of Olga Sitzman and the late Lucille “Frenchie” Schexnayder, Virginia “Bebe” Duhe, Lydia Schwartz, Jeanette Jacob, Georgette Howard, Denise Michel and Charles “Schoon,” Nemour “Toon,” Theophile “Sweet,” Ellis, Emile Jr. and Theodore Delaneuville.She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and predeceased by one grandson.

She was also the daughter of the late Mary Moliere and Alexander Royal Sr., step-daughter of the late John Moliere and sister of Herbert Royal Sr.and the late Rachel Johnson and Christopher and Alexander Royal.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late George Stafford Sr.and mother of Marva Robertson, Elmira Shaw, Marcella Linton, Georgia Mae Coleman, Kathy Inuwa, Joyce Ann Patterson and Liegy and Herman Stafford.
She was also the daughter of the late George and Catherine Landry Lee and sister of Alma Finley, Irene Franklin, and the late Shirley and Willie Lee.
She is also survived by 20 grandchildren 24 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 9 at New Zion Baptist Church, Gramercy, withinterment at Golden Wreath Cemetery, Lutcher.
WILLIAMS NEW ORLEANSIrene Clark Williams, 74, a native of Ama and a resident of New Orleans for many years, died Aug. 4. She was the wife of the lateLloyd Williams Sr. and the mother of Agnes Larvadain, Earl Armstrong andLloyd Williams Jr.
She was also the daughter of the late Abram and Aglia Clark and the sister of Haywood and Leon Clark, Dorothy Foster and the late Phyllis Myers.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 9 at Pilgrim Baptist Church, New Orleans, withinterment at Resthaven Memorial Park, New Orleans.
