ALL LUTCHER – Juanita Hernandez All, 67, a native of Brownsville, Texas, and a resident of Lutcher, died July 12. She was the wife of Jack W. All Sr. andmother of Susan Madere, Norma McGowan, Melissa Troungo, Angelia Jackson and Jake All Jr.
She was also the daughter of Maria LiNares Hernandez and the late Enrique Hernandez and also survived by three sisters and two brothers and preceded in death of two sisters and two brothers.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held July 16 at Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Meridian,Miss.
COOPER ST. JAMES – Joseph Cooper, a native and resident of St. James, died July10. He was the husband of the late Hester Miller Cooper and father ofAnnie Williams, Florida Chatman and Rita, Oliver Sr., Wilfred, Clarence andCharles Cooper.
He was also the son of the late Theophile and Neimie Scott Cooper and brother of Virgie Long and the late Mattie, Florence, Gladys and Theodore Cooper Sr.
He is also survived by 42 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 19 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, St. James, withinterment at the church cemetery.
FREDERICKS GARYVILLE – Alma Cecilia Fredericks, 74, a native and resident of Garyville, died July 14. She was the wife of the late Rev. MatthewFredericks and mother of the Rev. Kevin, Kim, the Rev. Kent, Keith andKristi Fredericks.
She was also the daughter of the late Louis Clark and Emma Riley.
She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 19 at Greater New Mt. Zion Baptist Church,Garyville, with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Lions.
GEASON ST. JAMES – Callie Mae Geason, 64, a native and resident of St. James, diedJuly 17. She was the mother of Reginald Geason.She was also the daughter of the late Vera Chiquet and Wilton Geason.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, St. James,with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.HOTARD LAPLACE – Elodie Yuratich Hotard, 86, a native of Buras, former resident of Reserve and a resident of LaPlace for 26 years, died July 17. She wasthe wife of Henry Hotard Sr. and mother of Joyce Harvey and Henry HotardJr.
She was also the daughter of the late Peter and Martha Yuratich and sister of the late Ernest Roubaud.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren and was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Services were held July 20 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.MARTIN MARRERO – Lucy Carter Martin, 72, a native of St. James Parish and aresident of Marrero, died July 16. She was the mother of Ester Louis, IrmaCole, Ruth Payne, Barbara Blain and Earl Jr., Henry, Willie, Larry, Alvin andJames Martin.
She was also the daughter of the late Dennis and Rachel Carter and sister of Sarah Griffin and was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 19 at St. Mary Baptist Church, Marrero, withinterment at Bright Star Cemetery, Marrero.
MARTIN NORCO – Raleigh Joseph “T-Jones” Martin, 91, a native of Norco and a resident of Destrehan, died July 15. He was the husband of the lateTheresa Paul Martin and father of Cecile Williams, Mary Ann Smith and Pornell, James and Robert Martin.
He was also the son of the late Junius and Cecile Martin.
He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 17 at Good Hope Baptist Church, Norco, with interment at Montz Memorial Cemetery, Montz.
OUBRE VACHERIE – Blake Ryan Oubre, 10, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Vacherie, died July 15. He was the son of Ryan and Susan Kraemer Oubreand brother of Jacob Oubre.
He was also the grandson of Louis and Elizabeth Kraemer and Louis and Deanna Oubre.
He was a fourth-grade student at Vacherie Elementary School.
Services were held July 17 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, with interment at the church mausoleum.
SCHEXNAYDER ST. JAMES – Edgar Joseph Schexnayder Sr., 75, a native and resident of St.James, died July 18. He was the husband of 53 years of Alminte “Sis”LeBlanc Schexnayder and father of Susie Folse, Robin Rusk and Edgar Jr.
and Gary Schexnayder.
He was also the son of the late Michel and Anabel Bertaut Schexnayder and brother of Anabel Torres, Lou Mannina, Roland and Raymond Schexnayder and the late Michel Schexnayder.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 20 at St. James Catholic Church, St. James, withinterment at Ascension of Our Lord mausoleum, Donaldsonville.
WOOD ST. JAMES – Cecile Dugas Wood, 88, a native of Donaldsonville and aresident of St. James, died July 16. She was the wife of the late Sidney E.Wood and mother of Sydney Womack and Mary, John, Gerald and Barbara Wood.
She was also the daughter of Alcee and Adela Hidalgo Dugas and sister of Roy, Uton and Lee Dugas.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 19 at St. James Catholic Church, St. James, withinterment at Ascension Mausoleum.
ZIMMERMANHARVEY – Amy G. Zimmerman, 88, a native of St. James Parish and aresident of Marrero for 75 years, died July 19. She was the wife of thelate Lawrence Zimmerman and mother of Audrey Krider, Anita Roudolfich and Martin Zimmerman.
She was also the daughter of the late Henry and Lizzie Barrio Goodman and sister of Lydia Christen, Lizzie Goodman and Odilie Ives.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services are today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, Harvey,with interment at Our Lady of Prompt Succor mausoleum, Westwego.
Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
