MASHIA NORCO – Eloise Riley Mashia, 71, a native of Jefferson and a resident of Norco, died April 26. She was the wife of Blenny L. Mashia Sr. and motherof Sheryl Williams and Emily, Rodney, Barry, Darrell Sr. and the lateBlenny Mashia Jr.
She was also the daughter of the late Louis Riley Sr. and Emily Pugh andsister of Louis Riley Jr.
She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
Services were held April 28 at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, Norco, with interment at First Zion Cemetery, Jefferson.
RAYMOND KILLONA – John Raymond Jr., 101, a native and resident of Killona, diedApril 24. He was the husband of the late Matilda Jackson Raymond andfather of the late Cornelius Sr., Alfred Sr. and Delmar Raymond.He was also the son of the late John Sr. and Rosaline White Raymond andbrother of Bertha Noble and the late Rosaline Scott, Dollie Smith, Edna Lamb and Berda Raymond.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Services were Saturday at Canaan Baptist Church, Killona, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.
VAUGHN CENTERVILLE, Miss. – The Rev. Marshall Vaughn, 72, a native of Centerville,Miss., and a resident of Reserve for 20 years, died April 22. He was thehusband of Willie B. Vaughn and father of Madeline, Deloris, Angela, Donna,Michelle, Yolanda, Aimee, Jamie, Priscilla, Melissa, Jacqueline, Kimberly, Tracey, David, Darryl, Marshall, John, Phillip and Troy Vaughn.
He was also the brother of Rosalee Williams and Zachary, John and Gus Vaughn.
He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
Services were Saturday at Centerville Baptist Church, Centerville, with interment at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery, Centerville.
WILLIAMS MARRERO – Edward “Sticky” Williams, 56, a native of Vacherie and a resident of Harvey, died April 23. He was the husband of VictoriaChampagne Williams and father of Kevin, Edward Jr. and Darrin Williams.He was also the son of the late Alex and Pressie Williams and brother of Gustevia Stewart, Calena Lamar, Bernice Russell, Rose Fletcher and Harry and Alex Williams.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Services were Saturday at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Marrero, withinterment at Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale.
