The Lutcher High School Tennis Tournament will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. at the tennis complex on the school’s campus. Events include men’ssingles and doubles and ladies’ singles and doubles. NOAH Boosters, Inc. is holding its Little League Opening Day and FirstAnnual Community Aware-ness day Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Registration is still open for boys and girls ages 5 and 6 and ages 13 and up. Registration is closed for ages 7-12 but a waiting list is an option.The community is invited to come by and support the youth in the parish as NOAH celebrates its 15th year of Little League. A free fingerprintingkit/information and safety tips is also available for parents and children.

St. Charles Catholic head baseball coach Frank Monica is holding aseries of baseball camps this spring at the high school.
A general camp will be held June 7-11. The cost is $100. A pitchers andcatchers camp will be held June 14 and 15 and the cost is $60. A hitterscamp is scheduled for June 16-18 and the cost is $90.

Special Olympics Louisiana’s new “Share the Victory” motor vehicle recycling program allows anyone in Orleans, Jefferson, St.
Bernard, St. Tammany and St. Charles parishes to turn extra or unwantedvehicles into “something special for Special Olympics.”An individual can call the “Share the Victory” toll-free number and Special Olympics will arrange to tow away their motor vehicle for free.
The vehicle will be recycled into the funds needed to support the year- round program of sports training and athletic competition for mentally- retarded children and adults in Louisiana.
Vehicles can be in any condition to qualify as long as the owner has the title. Consumers may also be able to take advantage of a tax deduction asthe fair market price of the vehicle is considered a tax deductible donation to Special Olympics.
