BRAUNINGER METAIRIE – Jeannette LeBlanc Brauninger, 70, a native of Destrehan and a resident of Metairie for 47 years, died March 13. She was the wife of thelate Milton J. Brauninger and mother of Harold, Donald, Barry and PaulBrauninger.

She was also the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie Braud LeBlanc and sister of Erling and Ronald LeBlanc and the late Mary Decoteau.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.

Services were held March 16 at Our Lady of Divine Providence Church with interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

JAMBON HARVEY – May Anna Songy Jambon, 78, a native of Edgard and a resident of Harvey for 60 years, died March 15. She was the wife of the late HarrisonJoseph Jambon Sr. and mother of Bertha Daigle and Gerald, Larry Sr. andthe late Harrison Jambon Jr.

She was also the sister of Thelma Rodriguez and the late C.J. and WoodrowSongy.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 10:30 a.m. at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church,Harvey, with interment at Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation starts at 8a.m.MARSE PAULINA – Chester Joseph Marse, 82, a native of Chackbay and a resident of New Orleans, died March 15. He was the husband of Albertine GuitreauMarse and father of Barbara Gilly, Brenda Dukaske, Melinda Mullet, Debra Cox and Gerald, Kenneth, Robert and the late Geraldine Marse.

He was also the son of the late Nelcon and Leocadie Perque Marse and brother of Dan Marse and the late Thomas Marse.

He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held March 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, withinterment at the church cemetery.

PIERRE EDGARD – Roscoe F. “Sonny” Pierre Jr, 75, a native and resident of Edgard,died March 10. He was the husband of Sentelia Borne Pierre and father ofCarol Crawford, Armella Moreland and Errol, Bettina, Curtis, Sarita, Ardina, Duval, Marlon and the late Vincent, Carlton and Daryl Pierre.

He was also the son of the late Roscoe Sr. and Mathilde Prince Pierre andbrother of Corrine Burrell, Olga Borne, Lois Sterling, Bernice Borne, Roland Sr., Raymond Sr. and Leon Pierre and the late Lloyd and Louis Pierre.He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held March 15 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church,Edgard, with interment at the church cemetery.
