BRIGNAC CONVENT – Camille LeBoeuf Brignac, 101, a native of Convent and resident of New Orleans, died Jan. 30. She was the wife of the late Louis Brignac.She was also the daughter of the late Camille and Louise LeBoeuf and was preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters.
Services are today at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Convent,with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.DORNIER CONVENT – James H. “Tarzan” Dornier, 87, a native and resident ofConvent, died Jan. 31. He was the husband of the late Odette LandryDornier and father of James Jr., Gary and Michael Dornier.He was also the son of the late Jules A. and Felicie Dicharry Dornier andbrother of the late Lillian, Hazel, Mildred, Jules Jr., Carroll, Benjamin andAnthony Dornier.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Services will be held Feb. 4 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Convent, withinterment at the church mausoleum. Visitation is set today at AlexanderFuneral Home, Lutcher, from 6 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 8 to 9:30 a.m.GIBSON BOUTTE – Hazel M. Gibson, 79, a native and resident of Boutte, died Jan. 27.She was the wife of Lawrence Gibson and mother of Alendryea Grows.
She was also the sister of Amelia and Milton Brown.
She is also survived by six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 30 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Boutte, withinterment at St. Mary Cemetery, Boutte.MOREHOUSE METAIRIE – Berney Keller Morehouse, 63, a native of St. Rose and aresident of Kenner for 40 years, died Jan. 29. She was the wife of the lateGeorge Morehouse Sr. and mother of Betty Maddox and Brian and GeorgeMorehouse Jr.
She was also the daughter of Gladys Keller and the late Louis Keller and sister of Harry Keller.
She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 1 in the chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home,Metairie, with interment at Garden of Memories.
TROXCLAIR METAIRIE – Arthur Joseph Troxclair, 86, a native of Mt. Airy, a formerresident of New Sarpy and Kenner and a current resident of Luling, died Jan. 30. He was the father of Estelle Palmisano and Robert Lee Brashear.He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 2 in the chapel of Tharp-Sontheimer-TharpFuneral Home, Metairie, with interment at Garden of Memories.
