LAPLACE – St. Charles Catholic High School has announced its Krewe de CharlesXIII carnival ball royal court.

Twelve couples competed for this year’s title of king and queen of the Krewe de Charles XIII. The theme of the 13th annual event is “An Evening of CelestialSplendor.” The Krewe de Charles XIII Bal Masque will take place on Jan. 23 at 7p.m. in St. Charles Catholic High School’s gymnasium. Following the retirementof the royal court, the royal band will perform. Tickets for the event are $6 eachand can be purchased at St. Charles Catholic High School.Representing the Galaxy as the queen of the Krewe de Charles XIII Court is Heidi Nicole Loupe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Loupe of Reserve.Pages to her majesty are Chassie Marie LeBlanc and Channie Brook LeBlanc, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen LeBlanc of Reserve.Representing the Galaxy as the king of the Krewe de Charles XIII Court is Kenneth John Ordeneaux, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd “Monk” Ordeneaux of Paulina.Representing Pisces are Maid Leslie Hart Bailey and Duke Joshua Wayne Gonzales. Bailey is the daughter of Marcelle and E. J. Bailey of LaPlace. Gonzalesis the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gonzales of LaPlace.Representing Scorpio are Maid Alisha Marie Reine and Duke Darrin Paul Gaubert.

Reine is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Reine of LaPlace. Gaubert is the sonof Donnie and Claudia Gaubert of LaPlace.

Representing Leo are Maid Jessica Ann Hijuelos and Duke Jared Michael Smith.

Hijuelos is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Trahan of Destrehan. Smith isthe son of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Smith Jr. of LaPlace.Representing Aries are Maid Katie Graham and Duke Adam Philip Cambre. Grahamis the daughter of Suzy Graham of LaPlace. Cambre is the son of Mr. and Mrs.Philip Cambre of LaPlace.

Representing Cancer are Maid Nicole Marie Rome and Duke Matthew Scott Monica.

Rome is the daughter of Blane Rome and Roxanne Brady of Norco. Monica is theson of Linda Monica and the late Anthony F. Monica of LaPlace.Representing Libra are Maid Nikki Maria McGill and Duke Jason Francis Brignac.

McGill is the daughter of Arnold and Paulette McGill of LaPlace. Brignac is theson of Norman and Cheryl Brignac of LaPlace.

Representing Aquarius are Maid Jacqueline Marie Duhe and Duke Aaron Michael Cancienne. Duhe is the daughter of Chuck and Charla Duhe of Gramercy. Cancienneis the son of Jason and Gina Cancienne of LaPlace.

Representing Virgo are Maid Shannon Nicole Hinton and Duke Jarett Paul Maurin.

Hinton is the daughter of Maurice and Kathleen Hinton of LaPlace. Maurin is theson of J. D. Maurin Jr. and Mary Beth Melancon of LaPlace.Representing Capricorn are Maid Abbie Gayle Hoffman and Duke John Dill Price.

Hoffman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Hoffman of LaPlace. Price is theson of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Price of LaPlace.Representing Sagittarius are Maid Jennie Lynn Waguespack and Duke Matthew Paul Weber. Waguespack is the daughter of Dean and Patty Waguespack ofLaPlace. Weber is the son of Nolan and Joanne Weber of LaPlace.Representing Taurus are Maid Lindsay Marie Trant and Duke Jonathan Paul Rome.

Trant is the daughter of Wayne Trant and Cindy Gillies of LaPlace. Rome is theson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rome of Paulina.Following the presentation of the royal court and the king and queen of the Krewe de Charles XII, talented students from St. Charles Catholic will entertainthe royal court and its audience.
