The second half started with E.D. White having a strong wind at the back, causing several problems for the Comets on defense who were unable to clear the ball out of their defensive side of the field. The Cardinals tookadvantage by adding two more goals by the 20-minute mark in the second half.
A familiar combination of Jason Brignac to Doubleday brought the Comet within one goal at the 25-minute mark. The Cardinals again res-pondedwith their final goal a few minutes later. The final score of 4-2 gave theCardinals a 3-0 district record. Kurt Biven was sel-ected top defender forthe Comets.
