DEAR EDITOR: We are Willie and Nell LeBoeuf of Garyville. Our devoted Garyville VFDgave us our first senior citizens fire prevention program, with a beautiful meal included, on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We really enjoyed the program which was very educational. The meal wasvery tasty, cooked by Allen St. Pierre, as usual. On behalf of us and theother seniors that were present, we had a very good time. The prizes werevery good and I think everybody had the chance to win something useful for our houses.

Thanks again and you did a very good job, Garyville VFD, and we’re looking forward to attending the second one next year.

Thanks a million to our Garyville VFD for another job well done for especially “Slim” Duhe, our fire chief. He cares for the safety of ourseniors and in our little town of Garyville.
