4 men arrested on drug charges

RESERVE – Four men were arrested Thursday on drug charges. Deputiesfound a gun in the vehicle as well.Lt. Michael Tregre of the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office reported thatofficers flagged down a car in the 100 block of East 13th Street, Reserve,after recognizing the driver, Dwayne Perrilloux, who was being sought onan outstanding warrant.The vehicle at first refused to stop and deputies pursued it southbound onEast 22nd Street near the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, at which timethey spotted a small plastic bag being tossed out from the passenger sidewindow.The bag was recovered near East 22nd and Perrilloux Drive and contained10 rocks of crack cocaine.Arrested were:* Dwayne Perrilloux, 21, 137 Boardwalk St., LaPlace, distribution ofcocaine, flight from an officer in a motor vehicle, simple criminal damageto property and contempt of court.* Elliot L. Joseph, 19, 211 East 30th St., Reserve, distribution of cocaine.* Rashad J. Frank, 20, 720 Revere Drive, LaPlace, distribution of cocaineand distribution of marijuana.* Donald J. Bauer Jr., 43, 365 St. Andrew’s Blvd., LaPlace, distribution ofcocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.Once at the parish jail, a clear glass pipe was recovered from the area ofthe car occupied by Bauer, Tregre added.The cocaine recovered had a street value of $190.
