LAPLACE – St. Charles Catholic School proudly announces its Krewe de Charles XII CarnivalBall Royal Court.

Eleven couples competed for this year’s title of king and queen of the Krewe de Charles XII. Thetheme of the 12th annual event is “An Evening of Mythical Magic.” The Krewe de Charles XIIBal Masque will take place on the evening of Saturday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m. in St. CharlesCatholic High School’s gymnasium. Following the retirement of the Royal Court, the RoyalBand will perform. Tickets for the event are $6 each and can be purchased at SCC.Representing Hera as the Queen of the Krewe de Charles XII Court is Jennifer Lynn Brock, thedaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Brock of Reserve. Pages to her majesty are John LeerayTrosclair and Desten Douglas Brock. Trosclair is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darren Trosclair.Brock is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rickey Brock.

Representing Zeus as the king of the Krewe de Charles XII Court is P.J.Scioneaux, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Scioneaux of Reserve.

Representing Hephaestus is Maid Abby Leigh Roussel, daughter of Mrs. Rosalind H. Rousselleof LaPlace. The Duke of Hephaestus is Jason Paul Gonzales, son of Mr. and Mrs. TerryGonzales of Lutcher.

Representing Poseidon is Maid Beth Ann Jacob, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Jacob ofReserve. The Duke of Poseidon is Bryan Joseph Klibert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Klibert ofLaPlace.

Representing Eros is Maid Adrienne Renee Robichaux, daughter of Dr. Wayne Robichaux andLynn Robichaux of LaPlace. The Duke of Eros is Andrew Conway Cupit Jr., son of Mr. andMrs. Andrew Cupit Sr. of LaPlace.

Representing Bacchaus is Maid Shannon Marie Sasso, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. EdwardSasso of LaPlace. The Duke of Bacchaus is Spencer James Chauvin, son of Mr. and Mrs. IvyChauvin Jr. of LaPlace.

Representing Ares is Maid Courtney Elizabeth Millet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Millet ofLaPlace. The Duke of Ares is Brian Curtis Horvath, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Horvath ofLaPlace.

Representing Artemis is Maid Jill Marie Montz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Montz ofLaPlace. The Duke of Artemis is Jonathan Paul Roussel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Roussel ofLaPlace.

Representing Apollo is Maid Stacie Michelle Karr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Karr ofLaPlace. The Duke of Apollo is David Michael Nestor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nestor Jr. ofLaPlace.

Representing Aphrodite is Maid April Marie Champagne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. PaulChampagne of LaPlace. The Duke of Aphrodite is Travis Paul Broussard, son of Mr. and Mrs.Craig Broussard of LaPlace.

Representing Hermes is Maid Lisa Marie Roussel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Roussel ofLaPlace. The Duke of Hermes is Glenn Templet Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Templet Sr. ofLaPlace.

Representing Athena is Maid Terisha Fern Cambre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Cambreof LaPlace. The Duke of Athena is Andrew Joseph Moody, son of Mr. & Mrs. Tommy Moody ofLaPlace.

Following the presentation of the Royal Court and the king and queen of the Krewe deCharles XI, talented students from St. Charles Catholic will entertain the Royal Court and itsaudience.
