Alma Chiasson Dasch, 92, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at St. James Hospital in Lutcher. A native of Lafourche Crossing, she lived in Norco for the past 70 years. She was a practical nurse for Dr. Bill Landry for many years.
Ralph “Hawk” Robert Keating Sr., 79, died Jan. 28, 2012, at 12:20 a.m. He was a native of LaPlace and a resident of Garyville.
Patricia Daughery Lambert, 79, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Ormond Nursing and Care Center in Destrehan.
Jenelle L. Horn Robert, 88, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Cannon Hospice in Metairie.
Brent Joseph Roques, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many, died at his home Jan. 28, 2012, surrounded by his family.
Emmett Barreca, 56, died as the result of an accident on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012. He was a retired Supervisor with Homeland Security, the Kenner Police Department and the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office. He was a lifetime member of the Norco Area Volunteer Fire Department, Knights of Columbus Red Church Council 3634, Fourth Degree Archbishop Blenk Assembly Number 318 and Blue Knights Louisiana XII. He also was a graduate of Destrehan High School and Delgado College with honors.
James Thomas Barreca, 32, died as the result of an accident on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012.

Gary “Big G” Gerard Felder, 59, of LaPlace passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. He was a graduate of Destrehan High School and attended Southeastern University. He was a production team leader for Motiva for over 30 years.
Charles “Buddy” Ray Simon Sr. of Destrehan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at the age of 82 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A faithful and dutiful servant of Jesus Christ every day of her life, Ruby Anes Forbes Truax went to be with her Lord on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. She was born in Baton Rouge on July 24, 1923.
