A Bingo game fund-raiser, sponsored by Ascension of Our Lord K.C. Council 9623, takes place at Ascension of Our Lord School, 1809 Greenwood Drive, LaPlace. Doors open at 6 p.m. and games are from 7:30 9:50 p.m. Proceeds from the games benefit various area charities, including St. John A.R.C.
