The new weekday service stop is at 2828 Loyola Drive, which is right off I-10 Exit 221 in Kenner. Monday through Friday, LA SWIFT will stop at this location and will also offer their “Park & Ride” service, which will allow riders to park their car and leave it while the LA SWIFT service takes them either into downtown New Orleans or toward Baton Rouge.
More than 1,000 people each month rely on LA Swift for transportation. What originally began as a response to Hurricane Katrina to bring much-needed workers back into the devastated New Orleans area, LA SWIFT has since become one of Louisiana’s largest public transportation systems. LA SWIFT buses are equipped with wireless Internet and satellite TVs in a clean, comfortable environment in which its passengers can feel safe.
