HAHNVILLE – A Luling man suffered fatal injuries Tuesday after losing control of his motorcycle on River Road near Champagne Lane in St. Charles Parish, State Police said Wednesday.
Corey G. Treadway, 54, was heading east on River Road riding a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle when, for unknown reasons, he veered off the road to the right, said Trooper Melissa Matey, a public affairs official for State Police Troop B.

According to a report on the incident, speed is not considered a factor in the crash, but driver impairment is not yet known. Matey said autopsy and toxicology reports are pending.
