She is survived by her husband, Edmond “Buddy” Waguespack. They shared a wonderful life together for 63 years.
She is also survived by her daughter, Odelia “Dee” Simoneaux, and husband Bruce and the late Ronald “Ron” Waguespack. She was the mother-in-law of Michelle C. Waguespack and Grace G. Waguespack. She was the grandmother of Scott Simoneaux and wife Rebecca, Denise S. McDuffie, Dominique Waguespack and Andrea Waguespack. She was the great-grandmother of Travis Jr. and Paxton McDuffie and Evan and Eden Simoneaux.

She was a native of Mount Airy and a resident of LaPlace for the past 32 years.
Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Ascension of Our Lord Church from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Church. Interment will be at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.�
