HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish authorities have arrested one man and are looking for a second in connection with an armed robbery at a Boutte home last week, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Jarrod G. Washington, 18, 353 Sharon Ave., Boutte, was arrested on Oct. 30 after he showed up at a home on Kinler Street and allegedly robbed two men at gunpoint, said Capt. Pat Yoes, public information officer for the Sheriff’s Office.

Yoes said Washington’s accomplice, Roosevelt Ingram, 30, remains at large. Ingram’s last known address is listed at 132 Norman Lane, Apt. E, in Des Allemands.

According to the Sheriff’s Office release, Washington and Ingram showed up at the victims’ home around 6:48 p.m., knocked on the door and demanded money from the victims at gunpoint. The men handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, two cell phones and a set of keys. The men then fled the scene.

Yoes sad Washington was arrested a short time later. He was booked into the Nelson Coleman Correctional facility in Killona on an armed robbery charge. He said Washington remains in jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

Anyone with information on Ingram’s whereabouts is asked to contact St. Charles Sheriff’s Detective Jeremy Pitchford at 985-783-1135 or 985-783-6807.
