Letterman jackets handed out at DHS

Homecoming week festivities kicked off with the annual Senior Jacket Night ceremony. These traditional jackets were awarded to the seniors who held memberships in clubs, organizations, the honors program, or played a sport for three or more years. In all, a total of 125 seniors participated in the event.

Band members who received a jacket were: Steve Alvarado, Ahmi Atsina, Alejandro Deleon, Sarah Franklin, Casey Frietas, Daniel Guererro, Perry Macalusa, Tristen Palumbo, Laurel Pennino, Cory Rocques and Justin Villers.

Baseball players that received a jacket were: Sam Carriere, Devin Damare, Dylan Lucich, Kurt Mccune, Seth Montz, Matt Smith and Scott Stonestreet.

Basketball players that recieved a jacket were: Ryan Derbes, Koy Fagan, Kevin Mccall, Sean Palmer, Joe Sinceno, Akeem Sumlin,

Ashton Thompson, Paul Williams, Lucas Williams and Andre

Zeringue.

Boys Soccer players that received a jacket were: Andrew Crocker, Austin Dauzat, Herb Deleon, Austin Martin, Dionicio Ramirez, Jaron Thurnau and Andrew Wyatt.

Cheerleaders that received a jacket were: Laila Cambre, Brandi Hewling, Brooke Mccray, Ariel Morris, Holly Ford, Teri Linton, Cassandra Newchurch, Olivia Sherman, Miriam Smith and Rachel Tastet.

Destys that received a jacket were: Brittany Harper, Jardin Joseph, Victoria Pellerin, Brittany Sellers and Ashanti White.

Football players that received a jacket were: Robert Baldwin, Marshall Charles, Ashton Duhe, Blake Granier, Brandon Hebert, Greg Jackson, Eric Johnson, Kyron King, David Lane, Warren Lennix, Henry Lenox, Jared Matherne, Quinn Mautemps, James Murphy, Jordan Roussel, Cody Schmidt, Cody Scioneaux, Calvin Ursin, Beau Vicknair, Lawrence Washington and Ryan Wilson.

Girls Basketball players that received a jacket were: Kayla Bradley, Lacie Dent, Paige Rochelle and Lashante Scott.

Golf members that received a jacket were: Cody Ervin.

Girls Soccer players that received a jacket were: Shalee Hewett and Laura Wattigney.

Honors students that received a jacket were: Arielle Brown, Felisha Cashio, Carmon Chord, Samantha Ckement, Charlacia Dent, Ryan Derbes, Glynis Edwards, Destiny Garcia, Amber Goodman, Payton Huskins, Victoria Kahl, Alaina Meynard, Garrick Ranck, Dave Robichaux, Sara Rodriguez, Courtney Rome and Macy Terrebonne.

Power lifters that received a jacket were: Aaron Guidry and Matt Ramos.

ROTC members that received a jacket were: Damiore Adams, Joy Armstrong, Laquita Breaux, James Clark, Joylyn Cockerham, Alexis Coleman, Kirby Jackson, Ryan Mahler, Louis Pembrook, Jadon Scott, Kameron Sears, Aaron Williams and Janie Woodburn.

Student Council members that received a jacket were: Stefany Mejia.

Softball Team members that received a jacket were: Kayla Kessling.

Swim team members that received a jacket were: Alexandria Aviles, Samantha Clement, Eric Florez and Geroge Rochelle.

Talented Art members that received a jacket were: Bryan Haywood, Joshua Lambert, and Tia Walker.

Tennis team members that received a jacket were: Ryan Wilson

Volleyball team members that received a jacket were: Elizabeth Chaisson, Alexis Keller, Dadrion Turcuit, Melanie Vidrine and Kacie Yent.
