I am sorry to hear of your loss. I remeber Mr. Becnel for this; When I was in the first thru the fifth grade he and another man would visit our school, Woodland Elementary. He always smiled and looked at us as if he really knew us indiviually. The kids and I were glad to see him. Although we were very young, and it has been over 50 years, I still remember him. The reason I'm writing is because he made an impression in my life. I compare him to the Superientendants of Schools in theses days, and non can compare. What ever he saw was wrong at his viste was corrected immediately. School was great in those days. Eventhough the books were used, and we had to cover them right away, Mr. Becnel made sure we had books to read. I thank you Mr. Becnel, God bless you, you time was long, God promised 3 scores and 10, surely you were blessed beyone measure. Rest in Peace.
