“Ride United” participants started the poker run at the United Way of St. Charles office in Luling and visited five other stops in the metropolitan area including - Rotolo’s Pizzeria, The Pit Stop, McGuire’s Pub and The Handlebar. The participants ended the poker run at the Alligator Festival in St. Charles Parish.
Pam Gassen had the best poker hand with a flush and won $300. Don Boudreaux, Steven Henthorne and Stephanie Alexander had tied for the second best hand with a straight and split $150. The worst hand went to Glenn Tregre who won $50. Participants also had opportunities to win 50/50 and raffle prizes.
