Local crowned in Natchitoches

LaPlace native Ron’eeka Allyce Hill was crowned as the 2009 Miss Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival Queen.

Ron’eeka is a sophomore attending Northwestern State University of Louisiana (NSULA) as an English major with a minor in political science. Ron’eeka has aspirations to attend Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge upon completion of her bachelor’s degree at NSULA and become a family law attorney.

She is lieutenant of the Northwestern State Purple Pizzazz Pom Pom Line, NSU Freshman Connection orientation leader, Student Government Association senator, Presidential Ambassador, and member of the NSU Demon Volunteers-In-Progress. Hill also won the awards for best personality and best interview during the pageant.


She will compete this February in the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Queen of Queens Pageant representing the Natchitoches Meat Pie

Festival.
