Clyde Sistrunk, 41, was part of an undercover investigation on Sept. 24, 2008 by the St. Charles Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration when he was arrested on drug possession charges.
Sistrunk, a former Illinois resident, was on his way to deliver a large amount of ecstasy to a home in Destrehan when he led officers on a high-speed chase along Airline Highway. He was finally apprehended after authorities laid out road spikes to disable his vehicle.
