RESERVE – Dredging Supply Company Inc. (DSC) hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony recently to commemorate the opening of their new design center. Recent and steady growth throughout the company created a need for an additional building to house their engineering and automation departments.
Bill Hubbard, St. John the Baptist Parish President, attended and spoke of the significance of DSC’s expansion to the community. He also praised the company for using Aegis Construction, a local company specializing in commercial construction projects. Also in attendance were Kent and Louise Liliedahl and Ray Poche, representing Aegis Construction, as well as many of the company’s vendors, suppliers and industry partners.

The Julia Bull Campbell Design Center is 5,800 square feet, approximately three-quarters of the size of DSC’s Thomas J. Wetta III Administration Building. The building’s design incorporates many modern conveniences including a learning center for classroom training and monthly safety meetings.
DSC, the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of cutter suction dredges and underwater pump mining dredges, is located in Reserve.
