Eagan Insurance announces promotions

LAPLACE - Eagan Insurance Agency recently announced the following promotions:

Chuck Strassel has been named Executive Vice President. Strassel has been with Eagan Insurance for 13 years and is manager of production and sales. He is a member of the fifth generation of the Eagan family to be actively involved in the business. He handles complex commercial and personal lines accounts.

Brian Cohen has been named Vice President. Cohen has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years and has been with Eagan Insurance Agency for three years. He specializes in large and mid-sized commercial accounts.

Wayne Roussel has been named Vice President. Roussel also manages the LaPlace office of Eagan Insurance. He has been in the insurance industry for over 33 years and with Eagan for over four years. He is the current vice president of the Professional Insurance Agents of Greater New Orleans and an active member of the River Region Chamber of Commerce. Recently, Roussel also was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association (LIGA). He will serve a three-year term beginning in October, 2009.
