Timothy Jones, of 248 27th St., was arrested at his home just after 10:20 a.m. Thursday and booked on charges of indecent behavior with juveniles, said Lt. Andy Breaux, a spokesman for the Sheriff's Office. As of Friday, Jones was being held in the Sherman Walker Correctional Facility in LaPlace in lieu of $15,150 bond. He also faces separate charges of being a fugitive of the St. James Parish Sheriff's Office for an unrelated incident.
Breaux said deputies received a call around 10 p.m. on July 13 regarding an incident in which Jones allegedly exposed himself to two girls. A report from the Sheriff's Office said the girls, ages 8 and 9, told their parents about what happened.
