Cornel Joseph, 53, was booked just before 1 a.m. Saturday for indecent behavior with a juvenile, said Capt. Dane Clement, public information officer for the Sheriff’s Office. Clement said Joseph was released from the Sherman Walker Correctional Facility in LaPlace Monday after posting a $25,000 bond.
According to a report from police, Joseph was arrested after someone contacted the Sheriff’s Office to complain that he had committed a lewd act in the presence of a juvenile. Nothing further was released about the incident.
