Michele Rixner Warren, age 42, was called to rest on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in New Orleans. Daughter of the late Eunice Bourgeois Rixner and Godfrey Rixner Sr., beloved wife of Rev. Bryant Keith Warren Sr., loving mother of Keachell (companion Gerald Parker), Bryant (companion Terrion Daniels) and Warren Jr., stepmother of Lanear Boudoin, grandmother of the late Kassidy Keari Parker, sister and sister-in-law of Claudia (Ralph) Williams, Lloyd Jr. (Anita) and Anthony Ferdinand, Keith Rixner (Gavonna) and Alfred Bourgeois, Godfrey Jr. (Linda), Clyde (Mable), Danny (Tracy), Michael (Lilac), Donald, Clay, Kenneth, Lionel and Delton Rixner, daughter-in-law of Pearl Rodney Warren and the late Rev. Percy Huey Warren Sr. and sister-in-law of Deborah Howard, Ivy Bethencourt (Kermit), Sharon Boudoin (Lynwood), Carlis Griffin (Calvin), Deseree and Percy Huey Warren Jr. and the late (Renee Warren). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A Home Going Service was held Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 11 a.m. from Greater Morning Star Baptist Church, 1003 Balsam St., LaPlace, Rev. Bryant K. Warren Sr., Pastor, Rev. Gerald Vinnett Sr., Pastor of Fifth African B.C. St. Rose, La., officiating. Visitation was held at the church from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment in St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace, La. Service entrusted to Hobson Brown Funeral Home, (958) 535-2516, Garyville, La. 70051.
