The victim, who sought help after the attack from people in the area, told investigators that she was leaving a friend’s house in Metairie when an unidentified man got into her car and punched the back of her head.
According to the release, the woman said her attacker ordered her to drive until they reached the spillway, where the suspect allegedly raped her twice. The victim was able to escape the attack and the man fled the scene in the victim’s red 1994 Honda Civic. The victim said she did not know her attacker.
