He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beverly Erickson Barrios; two daughters, Belinda Barrios Rives and her former husband, Frank, and Blythe “Moo Moo” Barrios; one son, Barton C. Barrios and his wife, Celeste; one sister, Mary Jane Barrios Molaison and her husband, John Harknes; five grandchildren, Erin, Amy and Burks Rives and Breanne and Braden Barrios.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam J. Barrios and Olga Terrebonne Barrios Domangue. He was a friend of Bill W. for 25 years. A special thanks to the staff of the Ormond Nursing Care Center for your support and assistance through the years. Visitation was held on Thursday, April 16, 2009, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the St. Charles United Methodist Church, 1905 Ormond Blvd., Destrehan. A Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Dr. Juliet Spencer officiating.
