Dayshawn T. Preston, 19, 1122 Kinler St., Luling, and Timothy Moll, 20, 1111 Kinler St., were taken into custody without incident late last week by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force according to a release from St. Charles Sheriff Greg Champagne.
Champagne said both men were charged with the second-degree murder of 25-year-old Jahman Bailey, who was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of Paul Frederick Street on April 5. Bailey was pronounced dead after being transported to St. Charles Hospital.

During the investigation to capture Preston and Moll, task force officers tracked down numerous leads that put the two men in Alabama and Georgia. An anonymous tip indicated the duo was hiding out in an address on Maples Street in the Atlanta area. Champagne said Marshals moved in and arrested the men without incident.
The two men are being held in the Fulton County Jail in Georgia awaiting extradition orders.
