Gayle Bleakley Vicknair, 72 years of age, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 5:32 a.m. with her loving husband and family by her bedside. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Lutcher, she is survived by her devoted husband of 49-and-a-half years, Joseph Vicknair, sons Ken Vicknair and Don and wife Stacy Vicknair, daughters Lisa Musso and husband Sal and Lori Chauvin and husband Michael, grandchildrenToby, Whitlee, Christian and Austin Vicknair and Lexi Musso and Addisyn Chauvin, step-grandchildren Cory Louque and wife Brittney, Brandon and Scott Chauvin, brother Edward J. Bleakley III and wife Betty and sister-in-law Mara Roussel and husband Lynn.

Preceded in death by her parents Edward J. Bleakley Jr. and Ruth Bourgeois Bleakley and grandson Ken L. Vicknair Jr.

Relative and friends visited at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, on Saturday, March 21, until 12:45 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina . Entombment in St. Joseph Mausoleum.
