Dea Thibooeaux Naquin peacefully passed away at 11:15 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2009. Born December 12, 1911, in Bayou Blue. Age 98, Mrs. Naquin was a long time resident of Marrero and of LaPlace for the past 12 years. Beloved wife of the late Lesile L. Naquin. Mother of Leslie J. Naquin (wife Cheryl) and Kermit J. Naquin (wife Sharon). Grandmother of Melinda N. Rodrigue (husband Don), Perry L. Naquln (wife Tessa.) and Michelle N. Guinn (husband Crayton). Great-grandmother of Aimee, Ashley, Alyssa and Andrew Rodrigue, Cameron and Connor Naquin and Ashley and Matthew Guinn. Survived by one sister, Genevieve T. Leonard of Thibodeaux. Daughter of the late Andrew and Cecil B. Thibodeaux.
Preceded In death by siblings Thelma, Willie and C.B. Thibodeaux and Marle T. Hebert.
Vistitation and services were held at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace on Tuesday, March 3. Burial In Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna.
