Doris Haydel Vicknair on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. Beloved wife of Ernest Vicknair. Mother of Angie Dottolo and husband Glenn, Ronnie Vicknair and wife Judy, Ernest Vicknair Jr., Keith Vicknair and Karen Vicknair. Grandmother of Jimmy, Bryan and Kevin Dottolo, Ron Vicknair and Shelly Rider. Great-grandmother of Carson Dottolo and Nathan Rider. Sister of Lucette Hidalgo and the late June Haydel, Aline H. Holmes, Alma H. St. Pierre and Rita H. Sutton. Age 81. A native and resident of LaPlace.

Visitation and services were held at St. Joan of arc Catholic Church in LaPlace on Thursday, Feb. 26. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
