FCU CEO named Chamber Chair

LAPLACE - Louisiana Federal Credit Union President and CEO, Rhonda Hotard, has been named Chair of the River Region Chamber of Commerce. Hotard will assume her role as Chair with the start of 2009 followed by the annual installation banquet in February.

“Our focus at Louisiana Federal Credit Union has always been on our community,” states Louisiana FCU President and CEO, Rhonda Hotard. “By taking on this challenge, I’m excited to be able to promote that commitment even further. It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to serve my community.”

Rhonda Hotard has dedicated the past 14 years to Louisiana FCU. She first worked as the Comptroller for the organization prior to assuming the role as President & CEO in 2000.

Hotard has served on the Board of the Chamber since the organization’s inception in 2004.

The River Region Chamber of Commerce is an independent and autonomous organization dedicated to the interests of the business community of St. John, St. James, and St. Charles parishes.
